There are plenty of places to live in the world, and here are five that are known to be excellent destinations for black expats:

5. Dubai

Dubai is a thriving urban paradise, perfect for anyone looking to start a new life. Rent is affordable, jobs are plentiful, and people of all colors and religions co-exist peacefully. As long as you’re okay with living in a primarily Muslim country, Dubai has endless appeal to expats.

Hong Kong is a fast-paced melting pot of all kinds of cultures, so as an black American expat, you’ll fit right in. If you can afford the rising cost of living, you’ll experience great restaurants, exciting nightlife, and a vibrant local culture.
