The US Navy Just Converted Seawater to Jet Fuel
We’re always hearing about the next big thing when it comes to the replacement for the finite natural resources that we use today as gas in our vehicles. But a pitch that you probably haven’t heard yet currently makes up about 70% of the Earth’s surface, and that is seawater. What’s really cool about this new technology is that the concept of converting the process into a fully operational globally wide normality is feasible and it makes use of one of the world’s renewable resources as opposed to one of the most finite. The Navy Research Lab or NRL has demonstrated this fuel conversion successfully through a seawater fueled model airplane.
