What Jim Carrey Says In This 1 Minute Video Will Change The Way You Live Your Life Forever!
In an inspiring speech before the graduating class of Maharishi University of Management, actor Jim Carrey urged the school’s 285 graduates to never give up in the pursuit of their dreams. Carrey told the class a story about his father, Percy Carrey. As a young man, Percy wanted to be a comedian, but decided on a career as an accountant as it was safer and more reliable. That all changed when Percy was fired from his job, putting a great financial strain on his family.
While his family eventually recovered from the crisis, Carrey used his father’s example to urge his audience to do what they are passionate about, saying, “I learned many, many lessons from my father, but not least of which is that you can fail at something you don’t want, so you might as well take a chance doing what you love.” The legendary comedian further added that in doing what you love, you can better yourself and the world. Carrey himself is an example of the success one can find by doing what you love, approaching each of his films with passion and hard work.
