Woman Mistakenly Sends Snapchat to Boss, What Happened Next Will Surprise You
There are currently so many ways to communicate electronically that the concept of penning a message to a friend is rapidly becoming a thing of the past. A recent study found that one out of every three participants had not written anything by hand in the last six months. Those handwritten notes from our younger years may have taken a bit longer, but overall they were much safer than today’s methods of communication. The key difference between these two is that electronic communication is more likely to end up in the wrong hands. This was experienced first hand by an unidentified woman in the UK who took a nude selfie with the intention of sending it to her boyfriend via Snapchat. Unfortunately, she made the mortifying mistake of sending it to her boss instead.
Thankfully for her, he chose not to make a big deal out of the situation. Instead, he returned the photo with a simple warning that read, “Hi. You probably did not mean to send this to me, but please be more careful. I am your boss.”
This incredibly humiliating and awkward moment serves as a reminder to all of us to be extra careful when communicating electronically or through social media’s direct messages. This woman probably spent the rest of her weekend thinking up a million ways to avoid her boss on Monday and longing for the day when messages were handwritten and placed directly into the palm of the intended reader.
