You Won’t Believe How This Woman Turned a School Bus into a House on Wheels
It only took Stephanie Adams $2,000 grand to buy herself a house. It was a bit on the small side – sitting at about 220 square feet – but it’s mobile. This house, of course, happens to be a school bus.
Ms. Adams, with the help of her daughter and a few friends, took to stripping the interior and implanting the comforts of an ordinary home inside. Proving how little space is needed for the function of day to day life, the Tiny Home Bus Conversion team included a living room, a kitchen, a bedroom and even a bathroom.
The kitchen consists of a fridge, a stove, a washer and dryer, and cabinets for storage, along with plenty of counter space to prepare food. The living room was made whole using things that could serve multiple functions. The couch flips into a bed, the table into a desk into an entertainment space with surprising ease and grace. Even the bedroom includes a closet with plentiful space for storing clothes and shoes.
With a little handiwork Stephanie Adams shrunk the distraction of exorbitant space into a quieter, simpler tiny home.
